MyETF Thomson Reuters Asia Pacific ex-Japan Islamic Agribusiness (MyETF-AGRI)
Fund Objective
The Fund's objective is to closely correspond to the performance of the Benchmark Index, regardless of its performance. The Fund Manager attempts to achieve an absolute value of tracking error of less than 3% between the net asset value (NAV) of the Fund and the Benchmark Index. Ordinary brokerage commissions may apply.
Benchmark Index
The Benchmark Index consists of 30 largest stocks by free-float adjusted market capitalisation listed in the relevant exchanges which are within the following agriculture-based industries as classified by Thomson Reuters Business Classification system:
(i) agricultural chemical;
(ii) forest and wood products;
(iii) heavy machinery and vehicles;
(iv) fishing and farming; and
(v) food processing.
The Benchmark Index excludes companies that are solely engaged in downstream agriculture production activities involving distribution of food products to other companies or end consumers such as containers, packaging and beverages industries.
The universe for selection of the constituents of the Benchmark Index is the constituents of the Parent Index. The Parent Index, namely the Thomson Reuters Global Equity Index, is a free-float adjusted market capitalisation weighted index that is designed to measure the global equity market performance.
The weight of any single country in the Benchmark Index is capped at 30% of the Benchmark Index's total market capitalisation. In addition, the weight of any single group entity in the Benchmark Index is capped at 5% of its total market capitalisation.
As the Benchmark Index is a total return index, the market capitalisation of the Benchmark Index will be adjusted for any cash distributions (cash dividend payments or capital repayments) and such cash distribution will be reflected in the total index performance. The Benchmark Index is calculated and published in Ringgit Malaysia and the end of the day index values are available through the Fund's website www.myetf.com.my.
